I obtained a Geology degree from Gustavus Adolphus College. Along with my love for powerlifting and growing delicious foods, I have had an interest in chainsaws, axes and wood splitting and stacking. I am the Head Gardener at the Glensheen Mansion for most of the year and a lead grounds person for Levy Tree Care in Duluth. I maintain all of Levy's chainsaws and equipment during the winter. This includes everything from keeping chains sharp to troubleshooting engine problems. I have a love for teaching others about trees, saws and proper cutting techniques as well as learning new processes from others.
