K & K Gardens

HAWKEYE, IA

K & K Gardens has been offering Northeast Iowa the largest selection of new and unusual perennials, annuals, woody ornamentals, water garden plants, water garden equipment, accessories, garden gifts, tools, and a wonderful selection of hostas. Heith and Kelli Kovarik started a small gardening hobby and has blossomed into a bountiful display of wandering perennials and water gardens. The garden has nearly one acre of enchanting perennial gardens displaying endless ideas for all levels of gardening enthusiast. The garden will open again for the season on April 23.

Kymar Acres

WAUKON, IA

Kymar Acres offers vegetable, flower and herb plants, available at local farmers markets. Located in northeast Iowa, Kymar Acres first started with produce and eggs and has expanded with jams, pickled items, baked goods and a food truck - the Kymar Kafe. You can find them at the Decorah Farmers Market starting May 1st, Harpers Ferry farmers market starting mid May and Waukon farmers market starting June 7th.

Kyle and Mari have been running Kymar Acres since 1998. Located in northeast Iowa, Kymar Acres first started with vegetables, then hens, and now jams, pickled items, and baked goods. You can find their products at their Kymar Kafe or Saturday mornings at the Decorah Farmers Market. Kymar will begin baking and taking orders again for the Easter holiday. Some fan favorites include 9” deep dish fruit pies, cinnamon rolls, and breads.

Hidden Springs Flower Farm

SPRING GROVE, MN

Are you dreaming of your summer garden? Warm weather is on its way and Hidden Springs Flower Farm in Spring Grove, MN has a vast array of plants to help make your garden dreams a reality! Farm Owners Brigitte and Harvey Buchite are known for specializing in peonies, with recent expansions to include heirloom apples, cherries and pears, cherries, hardy cactus, tropical orchid cactus, woodland plants, hardy Asiatic Maples and more. With over 600 peony varieties growing, Hidden Springs Flower Farm is a sight to see.

The nursery will open again on May 1st, 2021 with several hundred potted peonies to choose from with over 30 kinds not available online. They offer tomato and herb transplants, along with a large number of native prairie and woodland plants. They strive to work closely with nature to make their farm healthy habitat for wildlife, pollinators and beneficial insects.

Just north of Lone Rock and about and hour West of Madison, Wisconsin, their farm is nestled against the beautiful bluff country and north of the Wisconsin River. The farm strives to increase diversity of crops, protect and manage the soil fertility. Plants are sold individually in 3 inch pots. Planned pick up is for the weekend of May 16th.
