THE GREENSTED

Urban farm specializing in growing, packaging and selling of 17 varieties of Microgreens and seasonal market garden produce. Started in 2016, as primarily growing a few microgreens, we've grown to producing and selling over 310 lbs per month, roughly 2200 2oz clamshells. We have 6 primary products: Sweet Pea Shoots, Sunflower Shoots, Classy Classic (veggie blend), Zesty Mix (spicy, arugula/mustard blend), Radish (3 varieties of radishes) and our newest product in 2020, Pizzazz (cress, broccoli, red cabbage and amaranth). The summer of 2020 we grew and sold via farmers markets a variety of garden vegetables. Microgreens are available in 25 grocery and coop stores in the SE Minnesota region. We sell both microgreens and vegetables at Rochester Farmers Market (summer and winter), Goodhue Farmers Market (Summer) and Faribault Winter Farmers Market, Riverwalk Market Fair Northfield (Summer).

How to Buy: There are many ways to shop The Greensted’s products. Visit their online store, or find them at the summer Rochester Farmers Market, and at the winter Fairbault Farmers Market. Their producst are also avaialbe at a wide variety of retail locations: Hy-Vee (Rochester, Faribault, Owatonna, Winona), Just Food Co-op Northfield, Bluff Country Co-op Winona, and Festival Foods (Hugo and Andover), Bleu Dog Cafe Welch, Pescara Restaurant, and several Twin Cities locations.
